HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?

Email is preferred to ensure all details are documented. Use the contact button above to email directly from the website. Please include as many details as possible. Allow up to 72 hours for a response.

AVAILABILITY.

Orders require a minimum of 2 weeks' notice with full payment to secure your date. Availability is first come, first served, so book early. For events beyond 2 weeks, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required, with the balance due 2 weeks before your event.

Rush orders may be accommodated based on availability—please inquire.

TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND CONTRACT.

Orders are accepted based on the baker’s design style and expertise. Francielu’s Dessert Studio reserves the right to decline requests that do not align with our brand. A detailed contract will be sent with your invoice. Please review it carefully before making a payment, as payment confirms acceptance of all terms.

I love creating artistic/abstract cakes with stencil designs, pallet painting, texture, and colors. This type of design allows my creativity to shine! “Modern and minimalist” would be the preferred project for me to commit to. I cannot and will not duplicate another artist’s work. I respectfully ask that you trust me to create something unique and special for you, based on the inspiration you provide.

Not offered—sculpted or carved cakes, 3D characters or objects, fondant cakes, cake pops, or sugar cookies with royal icing piping. Minimal fondant design is available. Borders or accents can be added to cake, simple handcrafted flowers, natural florals, sprinkles, drip, gold flaking, and edible gold/silver paint.

DO YOU HAVE A STOREFRONT?

No. Francielu’s Dessert Studio is a home-based bakery that abides by the Idaho Cottage Food Laws. It does not require testing by the health department but I have received my Food Handler’s Safety Certificate and take the appropriate precautions to ensure sanitation and safe handling of food in my kitchen.

IS CAKE TASTING AVAILABLE?

Yes, for orders over $200 only. You can order a cake-tasting box for $40. Payment is required upfront. The box includes 3 cake/filling/frosting flavors of your choice from the menu .

WHY ARE CUSTOM CAKES SO EXPENSIVE?

  • INGREDIENTS. NO SHORTCUTS! All of the menu items are made fresh, completely from scratch with quality ingredients. I bake per order to ensure quality and consistency. Shortening is NEVER used in my buttercream! I will not compromise quality to sell cheaper cakes.

  • TIME. Custom cakes take hours or days, to complete., from baking, decorating, clean up, consulting, shopping for supplies, delivery, etc. My time deserves fair compensation.

  • SUPPLIES. Cake boards, boxes, and tools add up, along with maintaining equipment over time.

DO YOU OFFER GLUTEN-FREE ITEMS?

No, but Macarons are naturally gluten-free since they are made using almond flour.

DO YOU HAVE DAIRY-FREE OPTIONS ON YOUR MENU?

Not at this time.
